If you’re in the mood to get a little surrealistic , this exhibition at Museo Del Barrio will let you explore “the layered meanings and interpretations of the real as it is represented in photography and video art.” Drawing on the presentation of the landscape, the human figure, the world of architecture, various objects and natural phenomena, these images explore alternative realities despite their use of the photographic or video image, traditionally understood as a reflection of actuality.
superreal will feature more than 70 works by artists including ADÁL, Miguel Rio Branco, Tania Bruguera, Ana de la Cueva, Betsabee Romero, Vik Muniz, Andres Serrano, and Edin Vélez. Catch this unique exhibit from February 6th till May 19th.
