Pregones Theater announces March Is Music 2013 and they have invited various world music bands to throw showcases every week. On March 16th, the theater presents Quinteto Latino. For their featured residence and concert performance, Quinteto pairs up with composer GUILLERMO GALINDO for the NY premiere of Voces del Desierto/Voices of the Desert, a work honoring the many unnamed immigrants who cross the U.S.-Mexico border in search of a better life.
