Remezcla favorites Los Amigos Invisibles play at Webster Hall in NYC on April 6th. For twenty-one years now, these Venezuelans have have been revolutionizing latin funk and disco rock.
From their first album in 1995, Los Amigos Invisibles have developed a sound based on the “gozadera” – a catchy fusion of Latin rhythms with funk and lounge music. The Venezuelan band has toured the world over, but calls New York its base these days. Their latest release, ‘Commercial,’ was awarded a Latin GRAMMY for “Best Alternative Album.”
