Ever felt like you didn’t quite fit in? El Gringuito, a play written and performed by Éric-Dominique Pérez Gilormini, a Nuyorican actor, and directed by A.B. Lugo, centers around his experience as a red-headed Latino. In the play, Pérez explores his struggle to fit in a community where he didn’t look like anyone, let alone identify with anyone. How much do our looks really say about us? Pérez uses humor in his accounts as a child trying to fit in with others he didn’t look like at all. The play is in English with parts in Spanish and French.
