Although not a Latin band per se, Conor Oberst ( of Bright Eyes fame) formed Desaparecidos with friends from various indie bands. Much of Desaparecidos’ material is Oberst’s thoughts of the continued abuse of immigrants in Arizona, even writing their single “MariKKKopa” about Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County. Join them as they stand up for what is right and uncover the injustices happening today!
