Watch Hipspanics (and the not-so-Hispanic) shake what their mamás gave them at the next Tropisoul Tuesday this February 16. This edition of Public Assembly’s magnificently lively party will feature live music by Pifia (reggae, dub, funk and jazzy beats) and Guateke (tropical soul grooves).
D’Marquesina (pictured) will have an all-night set of reggaeton, electro and pop. It’s a shame D’Garage wasn’t available to join them, because the male half of D’Marquesina looks like a Puerto Rican Ryan Gosling — we’re assuming his Canadian counterpart would be Mr. Gosling himself, which would double the eye candy. Ay, sí. And he’d also bring along a Canuck version of a Björk reggaeton, perhaps?
