The art exhibition Retro/Active covers the breadth and depth of Puerto Rican artist Rafael Ferrer’s influential production over the last 55 years—an artistic journey that converses with a rich range of 20th century art, but always reflects his intelligent, mischievous, and ultimately Caribbean perspective. His retrospective art is part of El Museo’s FOCOS series which highlights the achievements of mature, under-recognized artists.
