Yes, you read that right! The New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) will be hosting a competition to see who has the chops to be this year’s video host.
First the basics: You have to be at least 21 to enter, live in the tri-state area, and be ready to do a lot of research on films and people before interviews. You must enter by July 9th. Last but not least, be engaging and entertaining!
OK, now that we ruined the dreams of somebody in Syracuse, the contest will no doubt be a gritty battle to the finish. The lucky winner will interview stars from films featured at NYILFF. The winner will also cover exclusive events and his/her work will be featured on multiple media platforms. The winner will be chosen from a pool of finalists by the public; so get ready to go into politician mode.
All you need is to send a video and a photo of yourself and state your case. For those who are dying to meet stars on the red carpet and be a part of a film festival, this is literally your ticket in! Good luck and have fun.
