Ivete Sangalo is one of Brazil’s biggest stars, and on Saturday she takes over “The World’s Most Famous Arena” when she performs for one night only at Madison Square Garden. During her 15-year career she has sold millions of albums and DVDs while establishing a reputation as an electrifying concert performer who connects the heart and soul of Brazilian music to fans across the globe, and now she will be the first Brazilian artist to headline the famous Arena.
This special event will be filmed for Sangalo’s fourth concert DVD and will feature cameo performances by a number of internationally famous special guest artists, the first of whom to be confirmed are Colombian rocker and multi-grammy winning singer-songwriter and guitar player Juanes; the world-renowned Brazilian singer-songwriter Seu Jorge, and multi-platinum selling British star James Morrison. More special guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
