El Morocco is presenting Bachata Heightz, the Washington Heights fivesome with a penchant for hip-hop and R&B-infused bachata. The quintet is breaking the urban Latino scene thanks to their songs “Me puedo matar” (featuring Dominican singer extraordinaire El Torito) and “No sabes de amor.” Catch them this Friday — you have no excuse not to if you’re female, since ladies enter free all night. Yaimeer will be the opening act, and music will be provided by DJ Maniatiko.
Bachata Heightz is comprised of Jay Heightz (lead singer/songwriter), Phenomenon (lead guitar), Dee Major (bass), Santo (vocals) and J-Ru (vocals/hype man).
