Summer in New York is here, which means it’s LAMC time. The Latin Alternative Music Conference is now in its 11th year of showcasing the top Latin music acts the world has to offer plus insightful panels from the industry’s leading figures. Bands from all over, big and small, migrate to NYC for this five-day epic fest that features shows all over the city. Whether it’s Prospect Park, Soho’s Apple store, Central Park, or music spots around the city, your options are endless. The challenge now is scoring access (luckily we’re feeling generous).
This year’s roster boasts great diversity, with artists ranging all sides of the latin music spectrum (Anita Tijoux, Pacha Massive, Ozomatli, Maldita Vecindad, The Pinker Tones, Los Rakas, La Bien Querida, Mexican Institute of Sound, etc. etc. etc.).
